A golf scorekeeper for games and outings

Every golf game, scored once

Nassau, skins, Vegas, wolf and eleven more, tallied as you play. Running the annual outing? Be at the bar, not the spreadsheet.

Hole19Tally is a scorekeeper. It records scores, works out strokes and shows who owes whom, but it never holds, moves or takes a share of money, and it is not a gambling service. Players settle up directly with each other.

The scoring screen mid-round, with a scorecard showing stroke dots and each golfer's running plus or minus points.
Try it now

Tap a score. Three games settle.

This is the arithmetic the app does for you: handicap strokes off the low, a flipped Vegas number, a skin that carries over, a press that starts itself.

  • Dots mark who gets a stroke on each hole, so nobody argues about it
  • Presses, flips and carryovers happen on their own
  • Four sample golfers, points only; nothing is stored or sent

Las Vegas

Each team's two scores make one number, lowest first (4 and 5 make 45). The gap is the points. A gross birdie flips the other team's number unless they have one too.

Skins

Running points: Alex −1 · Sam −5 · Jordan +11 · Casey −5

  • Hole 1: tied, the skin carries over
  • Hole 2: tied, the skin carries over
  • Hole 3: tied, the skin carries over
  • Hole 4: Jordan wins 4 skins
  • Hole 5: Alex wins 1 skin
  • Hole 6: tied, the skin carries over

2 skins are riding on the next hole. Lowest net score wins; each other golfer owes the winner one point per skin.

Nassau

Alex v Jordan

  • Front nine: Jordan 1 up through 6 holes (live)
  • Back nine: not started (live)
  • Overall: Jordan 1 up through 6 holes (live)
  • Front nine, press from hole 5: Alex 1 up through 2 holes (live)
  • Overall, press from hole 5: Alex 1 up through 2 holes (live)

Alex and Jordan play match play off the lower handicap. A press starts on its own when a side goes two holes down, and each part is scored separately.

How it works

Set up, score, done

Three steps, and the spreadsheet stays closed.

  1. Set up

Add your golfers and pick the games, or import the whole roster for an outing. The setup screen shows the most anyone can lose before you tee off.

  2. Score on phones

Enter each score once. Strokes, presses, carryovers and flips are worked out for you. At an outing every player enters their own.

  3. It is already tallied

Standings, settle-up and awards are ready when the last group finishes. Players pay each other directly; the app never touches money.

Your foursome

Scorecard first, your rules

Enter scores on a card that looks like the one in your pocket, with stroke dots and a running plus or minus. Press any time. Fix a rule dispute once, in settings, and it holds for the round.

  • Fifteen games, each with its house rules as settings
  • Quick entry for games like Vegas
  • The most you can lose, with the formula one tap away

Your outing

The 19th hole is for the bar

The 19th hole is where the stories get told, not where somebody tallies the day. Set the event up once on a computer, share a code, and let the field score on their phones.

  • One entry tallies every game, pool, contest and award
  • A different format for each flight in one event
  • Printed scorecards with stroke dots and a QR code
  • A live board nobody can peek at early

Run an outing

A tournament leaderboard on a tablet-sized screen, listing golfers by position with holes played and score to par.
The clubhouse TV display showing a large leaderboard with positions, holes played and net score to par.
What you get

Everything an outing needs, and nothing to tally by hand

Printed scorecards

Strokes marked for every player, with a QR code that opens live scoring.

Fair live scores

A player sees other scores only through the holes they have entered. The server enforces it.

Every game explained

Tap (i) for the rule, a ten-second example and the exact formula for the most you can lose.

Works offline

Scores keep saving with no signal and sync when the phone reconnects.

Clubhouse screen

An auto-scrolling leaderboard for the TV, with a reveal mode for the awards dinner.

Awards

Automatic awards and a shareable recap of the day.

Quick answers

Is Hole19Tally a betting app?

Hole19Tally is a scorekeeper. It records scores, works out strokes and shows who owes whom, but it never holds, moves or takes a share of money, and it is not a gambling service. Players settle up directly with each other.

Do players have to install anything?

No. Players join from a browser with the code the organizer gives them and enter their own scores.

Does it work without a signal?

Yes. Scores keep saving on the phone with no signal and sync when it reconnects, so a dead spot on the back nine does not lose a hole.

Can I play by my group's house rules?

Yes. Every game has its house rules as settings, and the app shows the most anyone can lose before you tee off.

What can a player see on the live leaderboard?

Another player's scores only through the holes the viewer has entered. The server enforces it, so an early finisher cannot spoil the field. The organizer sees everything.

What does it cost?

Everything is free while the app is in testing. Plans are described on the pricing page, and prices are listed there at launch.
